The children’s animation programme at Lipno lets kids disappear into their own world of games, challenges and crazy ideas. And the parents? They suddenly realise they have time for wellness, a walk around Lake Lipno or simply sitting on the terrace and doing absolutely nothing.
It all starts quietly. A few icebreaker games help the children remember each other’s names and discover who is the team leader, who is the comedian and who always seems to find the treasure first. And then the fun really begins.
One day they are dancing in the water during aquadancing, another day they are playing minigolf or badminton, and sometimes they dive into a team challenge inspired by Survivor. Sack races, moving a ball without using their hands, obstacle courses… in short, the kind of fun where everyone cheers, falls into the grass and laughs loudly enough for the fish in Lipno to hear.
When the children are not racing around outside, they switch into creative mode. They make bracelets, fragrant herb sachets or candles from real beeswax. Some start painting stones, while others are transformed into tigers, unicorns or superheroes with face painting.
And then comes the classic highlight – the treasure hunt. A trail full of tasks, puzzles and small challenges where children run, think and sometimes even have to plan their strategy. And at the end? Treasure. Real treasure, of course – and naturally something sweet.
The day can end exactly the way a proper summer holiday should – around a campfire. A guitar, singing and perhaps a little surprise for the parents that the children have secretly practised during the week.
While the children fall into bed pleasantly tired at the end of the day, the parents are thinking: “Coming here was definitely a good idea.”
