When nature grows quiet and every trip feels even more beautiful.
Summer may be over, but autumn has one big advantage. Wherever you go, there is suddenly much more space. And often, it is even more beautiful. The forests begin to change colour, the mornings are cooler, the air is fresher, and in places where you met one hiker after another in summer, you can now have a piece of nature almost entirely to yourself.
Autumn at Amenity Resorts is hard to describe. You simply have to experience it. By the water, in the mountains, in the forests or among the vineyards. By bike, e-bike, on inline skates, with Nordic walking poles or simply on an ordinary walk. Because that counts too.
Grab your poles and head outdoors.
At first glance, Nordic walking may look like ordinary walking with poles. In reality, however, it has much more in common with cross-country skiing. When you use the poles correctly, not only your legs but also your arms, back, shoulders and core get involved. And once you pick up the pace, you will quickly find that it can be quite a workout.
One of its biggest advantages is accessibility. It is suitable for athletes, seniors and anyone who simply wants to start moving more. You do not need complicated equipment or special terrain. All you need are comfortable shoes, poles and the desire to get outdoors.
And where? Practically anywhere. In Špindlerův Mlýn, Czech Canada, the Orlické Mountains, around Lipno or among the vineyards of Pálava. Each location has a different atmosphere in autumn, but they all have one thing in common: suddenly there is more space outdoors and less need to hurry.
Lipno by bike or on inline skates.

If you are not a keen cyclist or have small children who are only just learning to ride, the area around Lipno is an ideal choice. And in autumn, it may be even better than in summer.
A ride along the Lake Inline Trail is almost a must when visiting Lipno. The smooth-surfaced route runs alongside the lake for much of the way and is also suitable for beginners and families with children. Most of the slopes and bends are gentle, and the constantly changing views make the journey pass quickly.
Of course, you can cycle the same route too. For example, ride from Lipno to Frymburk, stop there for something good to eat and then head back. And if the weather is not ideal for sport, simply take a walk along the water. Lipno wrapped in morning mist has a very special charm in autumn.
In Špindlerův Mlýn, you do not always have to hike all the way to Sněžka.

The Krkonoše Mountains have a special atmosphere in autumn. The mountains become quieter, the trails less crowded and the views are softened by gentler light. And you do not need to plan any major mountain adventures.
A pleasant trip could be a walk to the Labská Dam. If you feel like going a little further, try the White Elbe Valley or Labský důl. And if you are looking for a proper mountain hike, there are plenty of options around Špindlerův Mlýn.
One of the advantages of autumn is that places which can feel almost like tourist highways in summer are now shared with only a handful of people. Just bear in mind that the weather in the Krkonoše Mountains can change much faster than down in town. A jacket in your backpack is definitely worth having.
The Orlické Mountains and a view worth a few extra steps.

In the Orlické Mountains, there is one thing we would definitely recommend in autumn: head uphill. For example, to Velká Deštná, the highest peak in the Orlické Mountains. In good weather, the observation tower offers far-reaching views across the landscape, and the walk through the autumn forest is worth the trip in itself.
If you have more time, you can follow part of the ridge along Jirásek’s Trail. But if you are not planning a major hike, that is perfectly fine too. Even an ordinary walk around Deštné can be surprisingly beautiful in autumn.
There is no need to keep rushing from one place to another here. Simply step outside, take a breath and let the path guide you.
Czech Canada. Somehow even more Canadian in autumn.

Czech Canada has one major advantage. Even when summer is over, there is still plenty to discover. Ponds, forests, granite boulders, narrow country roads and paths where you can walk for several kilometres without meeting anyone.
You can take a trip to Landštejn Castle, for example. And if you are looking for something a little less usual, try one of the Grasel Trails, which lead through places associated with the legendary robber Johann Georg Grasel.
Czech Canada is wonderful on foot, but an e-bike allows you to explore an even larger part of the landscape. And autumn colours suit this region particularly well. The forests change from one day to the next, the surfaces of the ponds reflect the sky and the countryside feels even quieter than usual.
On Pálava, autumn belongs to wine and folklore.

Autumn on Pálava looks completely different from autumn in the mountains. Vineyards instead of spruce forests. White limestone cliffs instead of mountain valleys. And a glass of wine instead of tea after your walk.
From Horní Věstonice or Perná, you can set out on foot among the vineyards. If you would like to extend your trip a little, head to Mikulov and climb Svatý kopeček, or Holy Hill. In summer, it can get very hot here. In autumn, exploring on foot is much more pleasant.
And the view of Mikulov, the vineyards and Pálava? That works in every season.
Estate in Márinky. Autumn among ponds and forests.

There are places where autumn arrives quietly. In the mist above the pond, in the chill of the morning and along paths where you are more likely to meet a deer than another person. Estate in Márinky is ideal for slow days spent between water and forest.
You can take a walk around the ponds, head into the surrounding forests or simply sit outside and let the day pass at its own pace. For anglers, autumn in Márinky has a charm of its own – calm water, a warm jacket and time that is in no hurry. And if you do not fish, that does not matter at all. This is a wonderful place to relax even without an itinerary.
Amenity House Náhlov. Autumn tranquillity just a short distance from Lipno.

Amenity House Náhlov is a place for those who want to stay close to Lipno while enjoying more peace and privacy. In autumn, mornings begin with mist drifting above the meadows and the days invite you to explore the surrounding countryside.
From Náhlov, you can head to Lipno, visit Frymburk, take a walk through the forest or simply explore the nearby country lanes. And if the weather tells you to stay indoors, that is perfectly fine too. The house is made for a larger family, a group of friends or a weekend when the most important thing is simply spending time together.
And what if autumn shows its other side?
Rain, wind, fog? That is all part of autumn too. And sometimes, weather like this provides the perfect excuse to return to the resort, enjoy the wellness facilities, go for a swim or have something good to eat and save the next trip for another day.
Because that is what autumn is all about. You do not have to fit in as much as possible. You do not need to plan every day from morning until evening. Simply slow down, head outdoors when you feel like it and relax when your body tells you to.
Autumn at Amenity Resorts is not about performance. It is about tranquillity, colours, fresh air and moments that can sometimes get lost in summer among busy schedules, heat and crowds.
Choose your place. By the water, in the mountains, in the forests or among the vineyards. Autumn is already waiting.
